Community Update - July 2021

This month is mainly to prepare for the release candidate of Circle Linux 8.3. At present, the teams are accelerating the pace and strive for the release as soon as possible.

Infrastructure

This team has been working on getting Mirror Manager stood up. If you’re interested in mirroring Circle Linux, please email infrastructure@cclinux.org. In addition, we have established Bugzilla for bug tracking.

Release Engineering and Packaging

The development team has generated and tested the minimal ISO.

Testing

We’ve also started a Testing team, which will be responsible for the validation and error reporting of our release candidate. Please make sure you join the Testing channel on rocket.chat server if you are interested in helping get Circle Linux released GA.

Website

This team has prepared our download page from which you can download the image of various versions of Circle Linux.

Documentation

The main documentation site is still in preparation, and we decided to build it using Antora. We have adapted the Installation Guide for now.
